The Aurus project is a European project that deals with the use of storytelling in working with groups in vulnerable and disadvantaged circumstances, for example those experiencing or at risk of experiencing social exclusion. The aim of the project was to develop sustainable, transferable and accessible methods in applying storytelling for social sector professionals. This resulted in a foundation brick publication (Digging for Gold) which served as the base for development and in a toolkit. Both can be found on this website. The toolkit uses an innovative storytelling approach to help professionals support people in vulnerable positions to rediscover their own story and by that to improve their mental wellbeing.
